How You Can Help

DONATE
We depend entirely on donations from the community! Monetary donations in any amount are always welcome. You can donate via PayPal on the Donate Now page of this website or send a check payable to 'TEAC' to 9199 Olde 8 Rd, Ste C, Northfield, OH 44067.

For non-monetary donations, as an individual, you can help by donating unexpired, non-perishable food, unopened hygiene items (personal care & cleaning products), or clean, in-season clothing and accessories for the entire family. We also provide feminine hygiene products, and baby diapers and wipes, and those are items that we always need. As a church, school, or business organization, you can hold a donation drive for food or hygiene items.

Every October, we kick off a toy and gift card drive for our Christmas Lane program. The program benefits our clients' children who are 0 to 18 years old. We ask that the toys be new, in-package, and unwrapped. In October we create a flyer and an Amazon Wish List with gift ideas and publish it on our Facebook page @teacenter and this website.

Please call us at 330-467-7945 or email info@teacenter.org if you would like to host a drive. We would love to help you explore ideas on how you can help your neighbors in need. We can also provide flyers and bins for your collection.

Please note that due to a lack of space, we can't accept furniture, household items, bedding, or books.

VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are the lifeblood of The Emergency Assistance Center! We could not accomplish what we do without the help of our incredibly devoted volunteer staff.

If you would like to volunteer or schedule a volunteer opportunity for your business or group, please contact us at 330-467-7945. To volunteer at our Center and events, you must be 16 years of age and complete a Volunteer Application and Civil Rights Form. If you have children under 16 who want to help those in need, we can share some of the fun and creative ways that young children have collected items for TEAC.

All volunteers need to complete an application and civil rights training form. You can download the forms and bring them to the Center or fill them out when you are here.

You are always welcome to come visit our Center, talk to a staff member, and take a tour.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!! We would not be able to help our neighbors in need without you!
